Welcome Veteran Owned Business: Rescue Wireless of Fort Myers Florida

Friday, August 7th, 2009

VeteranOwnedBusiness.com is proud to welcome Rescue Wireless Remote Computer & Network Repair of Fort Myers, Florida (Lee County) to the Veteran Owned Business Directory.

From Rescue Wireless Remote Computer & Network Repair:
“My background consists of communications since I was in the Army as advanced party for artillery when I was introduced to computer technology and communications. Attended college in Computer Engineering Technology until 1998. Worked in many large support services, such as Gateway support, Bellsouth Business DSL, Comcast Internet NOC, and Geeksquad computer task force. Currently my services can be provided world wide and instantly via WWW. The average work will start at $50 and up with most competitors. My services start at $30 and it is a combination of phone support and remote access. Example: Service member calls from Iraq through VoIP and cannot access Windows. I have her reboot and after five minutes of simple instructions I am connected to her remotely from Florida. My work specializes in diagnosing computer infections or Windows corruptions. I then would optimize Windows and secure it to protect data. After all computers are meant to process data and as a communication tool, yet you still need to save your favorites settings and that becomes data as well and it needs to be backed up. In addition of my computer experience I was also a Geeksquad manager and supervised and coached 23 technicians doing remote support. I will be expanding and subcontracting other engineers under my supervision next year. I worked as a Private Investigator for four years and take security very serious. Online backup is a method that I would advise anybody to have because your data is safe in addition of computer problems because theft, water, or fire not matter because your data will be online and can be retrieved anywhere in the world. Finally, I specialize in Wireless Network Security and repair.”

Welcome Veterans Hope of Stafford Virginia to The Veteran Owned Business Directory Non Profit Section

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

VeteranOwnedBusiness.com is proud to welcome: Veterans Hope to the Veteran Owned Business Directory Non Profit Section.

From Veterans Hope:
“It is no secret that our veteran’s and their families are crying for help. All too often though, help is never received
servicemen and women and their families simply do not know who to turn to for help. Veterans’ Hope Mobile Command Center will travel all across the country
reaching out to our service men and women and their families at the grass roots level. The Command Center will harness the efforts of hundreds of charitable organizations, whose charters are to support our men and women in uniform and their families. The Command Center will also link our servicemen and women to Veteran Owned Businesses if needed.

We will reach out to our veterans and their families at events all across the country, to include NASCAR, NHRA and other motor sports venues, as well as community celebrations like “Seattle Seafair” and “Fleet Week.” Getting information into the hands of those who need it is an overwhelming task. The Mobile Command Center will take on that task and deliver “Hope” personally.

The Mobile Command Center will utilize a comprehensive database of service organizations, veteran owned businesses, as well as carry brochures, pamphlets, business cards and whatever else organizations would like to distribute. By connecting veterans and their families to the right organizations, the Mobile Command Center can help improve the quality of life
one service member and one family member at a time! We will show our heroes that help does exist.  Click here for more information about Veterans Hope and to find out how you can help them help our veterans!
