Military Times Edge is looking to interview/spotlight a few Veteran Businessmen/Businesswomen who started their business while still serving active duty, and who recently (within the last 5 years) made the transition back to civilian life as a Veteran Business Owner.
Military Times Edge, a publication dedicated to providing Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen knowledge that can improve their lives and careers both while in the military and beyond, has approached Veteran Owned Business in an attempt to identify potential Veteran Owned Business men and women to be featured in an upcoming article in one of their publications. The print edition of Military Times EDGE is published 10 times a year, and inserted in the Military Times newsweeklies for distribution throughout the country, and to subscribers abroad.
Military Times Edge is preparing an article featuring Service men and women preparing for transition back to civilian life by starting a small business. The article will cover topics related to starting a business while in uniform such as: how to handle overlapping responsibilities, what steps to take to get started, when to get started, what obstacles to expect and how to avoid them and more.
