Shepherd's House is a transitional living center for homeless veterans who are struggling with alcoholism and or chemical dependencies. Clients are able to reside for up to two years as they build a solid foundation of recovery. A highly structured program designed especially for veterans, equipping them with the tools necessary when their program is completed, they are ready to move into permanent housing and care for themselves with the same dignity they experienced while in the military.During their stay, many achieve their college degrees and also receive the medical care they are entitled to through the local VA.
