2nd Chance Kids was founded as a Not-Profit Organization to help "At Risk" children with replacement or upgrades with their prescribed medical equipment and supplies for specialty care of their hearing or vision impairment(s), Asthma, and/or Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. Once these physical challenges are met, 2nd Chance Kids continues on to help these children access "Life Enrichment" experiences in the areas of Music, Performing Arts, Art, Health and Fitness education and Literacy. Our Organization's requirement is that the child's age is between 3 - 17 1/2 years of age and that the child is either orphaned, homeless, and/or one of their legal guardian(s) or parent(s) that are/or formerly incarcerated or has a "Disabled Veteran" status from active military duty with any branch of the military.
