The National Veterans Art Museum inspires greater understanding of the real impact of war with a focus on Vietnam. The museum collects, preserves and exhibits art inspired by combat and created by veterans. This work of art is the famed 10 x 40 foot installation piece entitled Above and Beyond. It is comprised of more than 58,000 imprinted dog tags representing each of the service men and women who died in the Vietnam War. On 11/11/11, the NVAM kicked off its Above and Beyond Campaign, seeking sponsors for every dog tag at $10 each to help move, protect and preserve this memorial as well as the more than 2,000 works of art in the museum's permanent collection.

Comments on the Military and Business Ownership...
“The Army instilled three traits into my personality. Discipline, honor, and initiative. Discipline helps me to run my business effectively and efficiently. Honor allows me to maintain a solid client base because I strive to "do the right thing" at all times, even if it means losing money on a job. Initiative gives me the desire to constantly improve processes, keep up with new technologies, and take advantage of opportunities to provide new and improved services to my clients.”
