Comments on the Military and Business Ownership...Tom comes from a proud legacy of service veterans that reaches as far back as the Spanish-American War. He began his military career in the Navy reserves as a sonar technician then moved on to an active duty position with the Army as an intelligence specialist. An unforeseen injury put an end to his military career but allowed Tom to pursue another interest: technology. This allowed him to work with Compaq Computers, NORAD/NorthCom, and Agilent Technologies where he moved their legacy systems (formally HP) to Oracle. He has also held positions selling to the government with companies varying from start-ups to Fortune 100. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently completing his MBA program at Chaminade University but the desire to serve his country has remained a goal in his life.
