Many wonderful organizations have put together special Independence Day “thank you” offerings for veterans and active duty military members (in some cases their respective families as well). Here is a growing list of what some of these companies are offering for July 4th and beyond:

Arena Football League: Chicago Rush
Chicago, Illinois
The Chicago Rush will honor America’s military personnel at the Friday, July 1 game against the Utah Blaze. Tickets will be $5 for active and past military members. Tickets can be purchased at the Allstate Arena Box Office or military groups can call the Chicago Rush Front Office.
Arena Football League: Orlando Predators (July 1st, 2011 only)
Orlando, Florida
Friday Nights Arena Football League game of the Orlando Predators taking on the Pittsburgh Power will be offering free admission to veterans and there immediate family.
The Minnesota Military Family Tribute

California’s Great Adventure

California’s Great America’s Tribute to the Armed Forces program will offer a free regular admission ticket to any active or retired military personnel during both Memorial Day and July 4th weekends (Saturday, Sunday and Monday). Along with free admission, active and retired members of the military will be able to purchase discount admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six) at a special military discount price of $29.99 each.
