Slippery Rock University’s SEA Veteran’s Outreach Resource Fair
Slippery Rock University’s (SRU) SEA Veteran’s Outreach Resource Fair is scheduled for Sunday, March 29 from 6 to 8 pm at Slippery Rock University in the Student Union Ballroom located in the Student Center. Slippery Rock University’s Sustainable Enterprise Accelerator (SEA) Veteran’s Outreach Team is putting this event together to help give back to our veterans and military who have already given so much for all of us. SRU is having this event to give our veteran men and women the resources, encouragement, and help that they need to start, and/or run their own businesses.
SEA Intern’s are available to help with their Idea Lab, which is the perfect place to help you come up with ideas for new businesses or even new ways to improve on what you are already doing. SEA also provides practical help in the area of marketing, such as help with creating business logos, and advertising products and/or services through the use of social and print media.
Slippery Rock University’s Sustainable Enterprise Accelerator Veteran’s Outreach Team is looking for:
1) community groups and nonprofit organizations that help veterans, transitioning military and/or military families to exhibit at the Veteran’s Outreach Resource Fair and/or hand out literature
2) veterans and active military/ROTC members who are interested in or even thinking about starting their own business. This event is is being put on specifically for you!
3) businesses owned by veterans, businesses looking to hire veterans and more
The deadline if you plan on having a table and/or handing out literature is March 20th.
