Along with a co-presenter, I do entertaining presentations for meetings and other group events.

Presentation topics include:
• Navajo Code Talkers: A thousand year old language became the unbreakable code that helped the U.S. Marines win the war in the Pacific in WW II.
• SS United States: The flagship of the American merchant fleet from 1952 - 1969; and the “A list” of movie stars and celebrities who sailed on her.
• Top Broadway Musicals: Some of the greatest and longest running Broadway musicals and the performers who thrilled us.
• Top TV Shows from the 50’s and 60’s: A nostalgic trip down memory lane and the TV shows that delighted a generation.
• Golden Oldies – The songs that we danced and romanced to.

Each presentation lasts between 35 - 45 minutes.

Don Buzney hosts “The Veterans Corner” on Rutgers University Radio, WRSU - 88.7 FM. Guests have included former NJ Governor Christie Whitman, NJ Senator Corey Booker and Marine Major General John Toolan calling in from Helmand Province, Afghanistan. A former U.S. Marine officer and Vietnam combat veteran, Don was born in Ohio, raised in Venezuela, is fluent in Spanish, and has a master’s degree from Loyola - Chicago, in Industrial Relations. He worked for the Navajo Nation in New Mexico from 2009 - 11, where he enjoyed many interactions with the Navajo Code Talkers. As a commissioned officer in the US Marine Corps I learned the fundamentals of public speaking and presentation. I also carry with me the work ethic learned in all branches of the armed forces, of integrity, professionalism, dedication and persistence.
