Central Iowa Honor Flight

Non-Profit Organization | Member since February 22nd, 2017

The Central Iowa Honor Flight and all other flights throughout the country allow our WWII and Korean War hero's to travel to Washington, DC to view the monuments and other monuments at no cost to our veterans. This is an opportunity for our veterans, many who have never been able to travel to Washington, DC to view a memorial for the service and the ultimate sacrifice our Veterans did to protect our country. The Honor Flight Networks believes it's important that the Veterans get to visit and experience their memorial. We need to continue this great opportunity for our Veterans as we are losing approximately 1,000 Veterans a day. We want to give something back to them and show how much we appreciate all they did for us.

Comments on the Military and Business Ownership

“The Army instilled three traits into my personality. Discipline, honor, and initiative. Discipline helps me to run my business effectively and efficiently. Honor allows me to maintain a solid client base because I strive to "do the right thing" at all times, even if it means losing money on a job. Initiative gives me the desire to constantly improve processes, keep up with new technologies, and take advantage of opportunities to provide new and improved services to my clients.”
